An art workshop that inspires creativity and confidence in drawing. Pupils use a simple still-life object as a starting point to explore and develop a range of drawing techniques. These skills are then transferred to print or paint.
Pupils complete the day with a range of drawings in various media and on a variety of scale and a completely fresh perspective on drawing. This project can be linked to various themes and areas of the curriculum. It develops looking and recording skills. It builds confidence in drawing and the outcomes allow for personalised learning. It also can be used as a vehicle for taking learning outside of the classroom.
